Turkey Trot Travel Guide

Chicago’s Lincoln Park has played host to the Life Time Turkey Trot Chicago 5K & 8K. Lincoln Park is easily accessible by car, train or plane. We’ve put together a list of travel options to help in making race day more convenient.

Event Location

Diversey Harbor
2601 N. Cannon Dr.
Chicago, IL 60614

Start Line: Cannon Dr. at Fullerton Pkwy

Transportation Options

Due to road closures that affect the success and safety of the race experience, there will be extremely limited parking in and around Lincoln Park. We highly encourage riding mass transit, taxi cab or ride share programs.

Public transit is highly recommended. Consider riding the #22 Clark, #36 Broadway or #151 Sheridan Bus lines into Lincoln Park. NOTE: all CTA buses and trains will operate on a Sunday schedule en lieu of the holiday.

For transit details, please contact (312) 836-7000 or visit transitchicago.com

One of the most convenient ways to get around these days is by the use of ride sharing apps such as Uber or Lyft. By now, most of us have either one or both installed on our phones. If not, you can easily upload these apps by visiting the App Store for iPhone or Play Store for Android.

It is highly recommended to plan ahead of time by reserving a ride from one of these apps a day or more in advance. This will keep the ride cost down and ensure that you have a ride reserved for you already.
Mask requirement—per federal and state mandate, masks are currently required on ride sharing services.

The classical way of getting around any urban area and still widely used today. Taxis are still in abundance throughout the city of Chicago. However, you’ll want to plan ahead of time and reserve a ride from any of the taxi service companies operating in the city before race day.

Mask requirement—per federal and state mandate, masks are currently required in taxis.
